Battery died? Replacement is easy through Roda.
Extreme temperatures, damage to connections, or just the lifespan of the battery itself can all be reasons for battery failure. If your car has difficulty starting, that can indicate an issue with the battery, but sometimes it takes an extra layer of attention to ensure that it’s not the alternator or another issue. If your headlights/taillights are also dim or flickering, that may suggest they aren’t getting enough power. Same with the electronic indicators on your dashboard. If those signs are accompanied by a grinding or whining noise from under the hood, or if you’ve tried replacing batteries and they seem to fall very short of their lifespan, it could indicate a problem with the alternator.
In some cases, yes, but car batteries are not designed to last the life of the vehicle and there are limits. You may be able to jumpstart a completely dead battery, but it may not hold charge for very long; and your best bet is to prioritize getting it checked (and if necessary) replaced as soon as possible. If your car won’t start, our Roda Rescue service may be able to assist! Call us for details.
“This is the third time our car has come in for services. Today Deion replaced the voltage converter for our car. It’s running good now with the auxiliary battery malfunction messages cleared. Deion completed the job on time as scheduled. Very efficient!”
