Introducing new concepts in car repair: transparency, trust and convenience. We started Roda to make taking care of your vehicle as easy as ordering groceries online. 

Why We Started Roda

Roda started out with a problem. It’s likely a familiar one. Something goes wrong with your car, or perhaps you just need regular maintenance or want to get a detail cleaning. You go online and search for the closest dealer or service center. You call and schedule an appointment. A week later, you’re fighting traffic to get there.

Upon arrival, you’re told that you have two choices: stick around and drink bad coffee in their waiting room or grab a shuttle to the metro only to have to reverse the trip at the end of the day. You waste hours and hours of work or precious weekend time.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

Almost everything else in our lives can be taken care of with a few clicks on your cell phone. Why should car service be any different?

Roda brings together the convenience of online ordering with the quality and trust of vetted factory-certified service centers and technicians. All work is done using manufacturer supplied or high quality aftermarket parts in our modern, local facilities. We take the quality of our work, and your safety, as our top priority. Our services are provided by certified technicians using only manufacturer or high-quality aftermarket parts (based on your preference and the needs of your vehicle!) and all work is backed by our Roda Guarantee. Any recommendations we provide are what we would extend to our own friends and family.

We do flat-pricing on basic maintenance where possible, guarantee our repairs, and recognize our team based on their professionalism and the quality of service that they provide-not selling you on unnecessary or shady services.

You can count on us to communicate with you before, during, and after your appointment to ensure your experience is as hassle-free as possible. You have full tracking of where your vehicle and valet is throughout the process. We're happy to pick-up and drop-off at different locations within our service area (e.g. pick-up at work, return to home) within our service area.

Roda's Beginning

Roda was created as a joint venture between two of the more storied brands in the DC area, Ourisman Automotive and Graham Holding (formerly the Washington Post Company), to introduce new concepts in automotive repair world. Formerly known as CarCareToGo, Roda aims to make car ownership easy and fun by taking care of your service and detail needs while you do whatever it is that you do.
