Roda.com (“Roda” or “the Site”) provides premier automotive valet services for car maintenance and repair either directly or through vehicle service providers (“dealerships”) that we represent (collectively, the “Services”). Roda is committed to protecting your privacy. We have prepared this Privacy Policy to describe our practices regarding the personal data we collect from you when you use any website, mobile, or other device with links to this Privacy Policy.
Overview & Summary
There is a great deal of information in this policy about our privacy practices. Here is an overview of what we do with your personal information:
We collect your personal information for the purpose of providing the Services. We do not share the information you provide to us for any reason other than to provide such services or make special offers to you related to the Services. If we match you with dealerships to work on your vehicle, we will share your information with the relevant dealership. We also share your information with the valet services that manage pick-up and delivery of your vehicle. After you use the Site, we may contact you with follow up, reviews or news about our offerings in the future, and if a dealership provides you with service, the dealership may contact you in accordance with the dealership privacy policy. You can unsubscribe from our emails, calls or texts at any time.
User Consent
By visiting the Site or submitting your personal data, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated policy and we will change the “Last Updated” date above. You should review this Privacy Policy regularly. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of changes will mean that you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide to Us. We may collect your name, contact information, including your mobile number, vehicle license plate, and other vehicle related information in connection with the Services you request. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will collect your email address. If you provide us feedback or contact us via e-mail, we will collect your name, e-mail address, and any other content included in your e-mail to us, in order to send you a reply. We may also collect personal data at other points in our Services that state that personal data is being collected, such as when you apply for a job.
Information Collected via Technology. In addition to the information you provide to us, our servers may collect information from your computer or device based upon your use of the Services. For example, we may collect:
- Device Information – We may collect your hardware model, IP address, other unique device identifiers, operating system version, and browser type and settings of the device you use to access the Services.
- Usage Information – We also may collect information about the Services you use, your interactions with content offered through the Services, and other online activity. For example, we may collect information about how many visitors visit a specific page on the Services, how long they stay on that page, and which hyperlinks, if any, are selected. We collect this information, in part, through the use of technologies such as cookies and web beacons, which are discussed in detail below.
Information From Third-Party Sources. We may receive information about you from publicly and commercially available sources, as permitted by law, which we may combine with other information we receive from or about you. For example, we may receive information about you from a social media site if you connect to the Services through that site.
How We Use Your Personal Information
To Provide You Access to the Services and Manage Your Requests. In general, we use your information to respond to your requests, aid us in serving you better, and to improve the Site. For example, we may send it to the dealerships that match your needs to schedule the Services, and we or the dealerships may contact you via phone, text or email to follow up, remind you of your appointment, ask you to review the service you received and send you information about future car care. We share information with the valet services that arrange for your vehicle pick-up and delivery. We may also share information with one or more of the dealerships if you have a customer inquiry about one of their services. The dealership selected for your automotive services will be responsible for the further processing of your personal information and, if you obtain services, the dealership may independently collect other information from you or your vehicle in accordance with its privacy policy. After we provide your information to them, the dealer’s use of such information is subject to its terms of use, privacy policies and practices. We encourage you to review the dealer’s privacy policy and terms. By using the Site, you consent to the processing of data about you in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
Marketing. We may send you a request for feedback on the Services or send you promotional offers regarding automotive services that we think may be of interest to you. For example, we use a third party service that matches browser cookies of visitors to our site with names and addresses from third party databases in order to send special offers through the mail on our behalf. We never receive or store any of this aggregate information and these third parties are not permitted to sell the visitor information from the Site to any other company or service.
We do not sell your personal information to unaffiliated parties for their own marketing purposes unrelated to the Services.
To Better Understand Our Users and Enhance Services. We may use information we gather to analyze and improve the Site and enhance the Services.
To Protect the Rights of the Services and Others. We may use your personal information as we believe is necessary or appropriate to protect, enforce, or defend the legal rights, privacy, safety, or property of the Services, our employees or agents, or other users and to comply with applicable law.
Consent. We may otherwise use your information with your consent or at your direction.
Security
We have adopted physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to help protect against theft, loss, misuse, and unauthorized access to or disclosure of the information we collect and receive. However, please note that no data transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we are concerned with the security of your personal data and strive to protect your information and privacy, we cannot and do not guarantee the security of any information you disclose or transmit to the Services and cannot be responsible for the theft, destruction, or inadvertent disclosure of your information, or any other disclosures out of our control.
Sharing or Disclosing Your Personal Data.
We may disclose your personal information to the following third parties:

When you request information about one or more of the Services, if we enlist a third-party dealership to provide the service to you, we will share information with such dealerships to arrange the Services and schedule your appointment. Dealerships are expected to protect the confidentiality and security of any information we share with them. However, we are not responsible for all of their privacy practices, and they may use your information in accordance with the dealership’s privacy policy. We recommend that you review the dealership’s website to determine how that site protects your privacy.

We may use service providers to perform a variety of services for Roda such as for scheduling integration, direct mail, valet services, data analysis and form submissions, and we may share your personal information with these businesses for the limited purpose of performing those services. However, we do not permit these third parties to share or use your information for other purposes.
Within our Corporate Group. We may share information within our corporate group on a need to know basis, for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

There may also be occasion for Roda to disclose your personal data to third parties if it believes, in its sole discretion, that such disclosure is required by law, is necessary to enforce our privacy policy, or in connection with a sale or transfer of some or all of the assets in Roda.
Otherwise With Your Consent or At Your Discretion. In addition to the sharing described in this Privacy Policy, we may share information about you with third parties whenever you consent to or direct such sharing.
We also may share other information with third parties in a manner that does not identify particular visitors, including, for example, aggregate information about how the Services are used.
