Frequently Asked Questions about Factory Scheduled Maintenance
How do I know what manufacturer recommended maintenance is needed for my vehicle?
The best, most accurate place for information about your specific vehicle lies within your owner’s manual. We also have access to the manufacturer recommended maintenance schedule for most makes and models, so you can always reach out to your Client Experience Manager or check your Virtual Garage to see if your vehicle is due for service.
Do I need to follow the manufacturer recommended maintenance strictly?
Regular, proactive maintenance is always a good idea, but even if it’s time for your mileage-based check up, Roda doesn’t perform work that your vehicle doesn’t need. For example, if your schedule says you may need an oil change but it turns out you don’t need it just yet, we’ll let you know and earmark that service for a later date.
Does my manufacturer recommended maintenance need to be done by the dealership? What about if my vehicle is still under warranty?
Nope! Independent service centers with experienced and trustworthy technicians (like Roda!) can perform maintenance on your vehicle just like the dealership can. Even if your vehicle is still under warranty, having work performed outside the dealership won’t void that warranty. If you have a third party warranty, always check the details of your contract.
Great experience - the valet service was professional, kept me posted on timing, and took excellent care of my car. The service center was transparent, high-tech, and informative (they provide videos and up front estimates). I was able to work a full day, review my service, pay for it and receive my car, without ever leaving home. Highly recommend!
