How This is Done
We follow the Tire Industry Association’s (TIA) approved repair procedures to ensure safety and longevity. We never use quick “string” or surface patches — every repair is done from the inside for maximum safety and reliability.
1. Inspect the Tire

2. Remove the Tire from the Wheel
Check internal structure for hidden damage.
3. Prepare and Plug the Puncture
Clean the damaged area and insert a vulcanized plug-patch for an airtight seal.
4. Remount and Balance
Reinstall the tire, rebalance if needed, and verify even pressure.
5. Final Leak Test
Confirm no air escapes and the tire is safe to drive.

Only punctures in the tread area less than ¼ inch wide can be repaired. Sidewall or large punctures require tire replacement.
Why is my tire leaking air?
Common causes include a nail or screw in the tread, a leaking valve stem, corrosion around the wheel bead, or a small crack in the tire. In some cases, temperature changes can also cause pressure loss — we’ll inspect the tire to identify the exact source before recommending a repair or replacement.
Is a tire plug safe?
A proper plug-patch combination (installed from inside the tire) is the industry-approved, long-term solution.
Why would I need to balance my tires?
You may have heard or previously received a “tire rotation and balancing” service. This ensures that your tires are wearing evenly, helping you extend the life of your tires and stay safer on the road.
How do I know if I need a tire alignment?
If your car is pulling to the left or right rather than straight ahead, that’s typically a sign you’re overdue for an alignment. Over time, your tires may wear in a particular pattern (one side more than another) or begin to tilt inward or outward depending on the weight distribution in your vehicle, quality of your tires, and the roads you commonly drive. Regular alignments not only help your tires last longer, but they can help prevent accidents and prevent costly suspension repair. Also, this is an easy maintenance step that improves your overall fuel economy. When your car is out of alignment, it can cause unnecessary resistance in the powertrain and requires the engine to work harder to maintain a consistent speed.
Do you rebalance the tire after repair?
Yes. Balancing ensures smooth performance and even tire wear.
Can run-flat tires be repaired?
Some can — depending on damage and manufacturer specifications. We inspect first to ensure it’s safe.
Can you get the correct tires for my car?
From Michelin to Pirelli, we use the same supplier networks as most commercial dealerships and should have no problem getting high-quality tires at the size and tread depth you need.
