RODA SERVICE
Oil Change
Oil is the lifeblood of your engine — it lubricates moving parts, reduces friction, and keeps everything running smoothly. Over time, it breaks down and collects contaminants, leading to higher wear and reduced efficiency.

THE RODA WAY
Roda's Oil Change service keeps your engine protected and performing its best using premium oil and filters that meet or exceed manufacturer standards. We believe in hospitality and transparency — you’ll always know exactly what we’re doing and why it matters.
When You Need This
Regular oil changes keep your engine healthy and efficient by reducing wear and improving performance.

Mileage or Time Interval
Most vehicles require an oil change every 5,000–7,500 miles, or at least every six months.
Darker, Dirty Oil on the Dipstick
Old oil loses its clarity and viscosity, signaling it’s time for replacement.
Reduced Engine Performance
Thicker, contaminated oil can make the engine feel sluggish or less responsive.
Routine Maintenance Schedule
Consistent oil changes ensure your car stays reliable and within manufacturer recommendations.

⚠️ What happens if you skip it? ⚠️
Delaying oil changes can cause sludge buildup, increased engine friction, and even severe internal damage. Fresh oil keeps your engine protected and helps you avoid costly repairs later.
How This is Done
We perform oil changes with precision, care, and the highest-quality materials to ensure peak performance and protection.
• Drain Old Oil
Remove used oil safely and inspect for debris or contamination.
• Replace Oil Filter
Install a new, high-quality filter matched to your vehicle’s specifications.
• Refill with Premium Oil
Add manufacturer-recommended oil to the proper level.
• Check and Top Off Fluids
Inspect coolant, brake, and washer fluids for peace of mind.
• Final Inspection
Verify there are no leaks and confirm correct oil pressure.

Rated 5-stars by hundreds of DC-area drivers
“Roda was a great service. I hit a pothole and had a blow out. They came and picked the car up downtown, fixed it, and dropped it back at my house. I'll definitely check them out again.”
- DAVE W.FAQs
What does a Roda oil change cost?
For a full synthetic oil change, the price is $80 for a Sedan and $90 for an SUV. We believe basic, recurring maintenance should be stress free. That's why our oil change prices are better than the competition, AND include free valet pick-up and return with every service.
How often should I change my oil?
The frequency depends on many factors such as your car's make, model, year of manufacture, and how often and far you drive. A good rule of thumb is every 3,000 to 5,000 miles, but your owner's manual can tell you exactly what's best for your specific car. Check out our blog on the topic: How often should I change my car's oil?
