THE RODA WAY
Our Tire Balancing and Rotation service combines precision equipment and expert care to keep your tires performing their best. We believe in hospitality and transparency — you’ll always know exactly what we’re doing and why it matters.
When You Need This
Proper mounting and balancing ensure smoother rides, safer handling, and longer tire life. Schedule this service when:

Uneven Tire Wear
Tires naturally wear differently front-to-back; rotation keeps wear patterns even.
Vibration at Highway Speeds
An unbalanced tire can cause steering wheel or seat vibration, especially at higher speeds.
Pulling or Handling Changes
Uneven tire wear or imbalance may cause drifting or steering inconsistencies.
Routine Maintenance
Performing balancing and rotation every 5,000–7,500 miles helps extend tire life and ensures smoother driving.

⚠️ What happens if you skip it? ⚠️
Skipping tire balancing and rotation can cause uneven wear, vibration, and reduced traction. Over time, it can shorten tire life, affect fuel economy, and lead to costly premature replacements.
How This is Done
We use precision balancing technology and manufacturer-approved rotation patterns tailored to your vehicle’s drivetrain.
• Inspect Tires and Wheels
Check tread depth, wear patterns, and tire pressure.
• Balance Each Tire
Use a digital balancer to evenly distribute weight and eliminate vibration.
• Rotate Tires
Swap positions according to front-wheel, rear-wheel, or all-wheel drive pattern.
• Reinflate and Reset Sensors
Set tire pressures to spec and recalibrate TPMS if needed.
• Final Road Check
Verify ride smoothness and handling consistency.

Rated 5-stars by hundreds of DC-area drivers
“Roda was a great service. I hit a pothole and had a blow out. They came and picked the car up downtown, fixed it, and dropped it back at my house. I'll definitely check them out again.”
- DAVE W.How often should I balance and rotate my tires?
Each vehicle will have different manufacturer recommendations, but a good general rule of thumb is to rotate tires about every 6 months, or with every other oil change. Your Roda technician will inspect your car any time it is in for service, and can let you know when tires need to be rotated.
Can unbalanced tires damage my suspension?
Yes. Long-term vibration stresses suspension and steering components.
Why do I need to rotate and balance my tires?
Rotation refers to moving the tires to a different position on the car. As you drive your front tires will wear more quickly than your back tires. When you regularly rotate your tires you are equalizing the wear to the tire, and maximizing the traction. This will save you money in the log run as you will be able to get more miles on your tires. Rotating your tires also allows your car to handle better while driving.
Balancing tires ensures that all your tires are supporting an equal amount of weight. This is important when you are driving at high speeds, as any imbalances cause the wheel to spin irregularly which can cause a more noticeable vibration that typically increases with speed. This vibration can cause mechanical components to fail over time if not corrected, and isn’t really enjoyable to drive.
Will this fix a steering vibration?
If caused by tire imbalance, yes. If vibration persists, we’ll inspect for alignment or suspension issues.
Do all-wheel-drive vehicles need this service?
Absolutely. Even tire wear is especially important for AWD systems to prevent drivetrain stress.
